DKO-Renten Hybrid

DKO-Renten Hybrid (ISIN: LU0188083231) is an opportunistic bond fund. Investments focus on hybrid bonds denominated in euros from industrial companies, insurers, retailers and conglomerates. Hybrid bonds from banks and in foreign currency can also be added. Issuers are mainly based in the EU and North America, and to a lesser extent in Australia and Latin America. Currency risk against the euro is normally hedged.

The fund manager actively seeks out profitable opportunities in this special segment to achieve long-term capital growth for clients, without neglecting risk. A top-down approach analysing the current capital markets environment is combined with a bottom-up approach examining the profitability of issuers and the sustainability of their business model.

A broadly diversified portfolio of hybrid bonds offers a very attractive balance of risk, return and liquidity compared to bonds from prime issuers.

DKO-Renten Hybrid is suitable for investors with a medium to long-term time horizon who are aware of the greater volatility in this market segment.
