NESTOR Investment Management S.A., the management company of the fund "NESTOR Fonds" ("Management Company"), which as a fonds commun de placement à compartiments multiples is subject to the provisions of Part I of the Law of 17 December 2010 on Undertakings for Collective Investment, had informed the investors of the sub-fund NESTOR Afrika Fonds on 8 October 2020 of the planned liquidation of the sub-fund.
Accordingly, the liquidation proceeds were to be calculated and paid to the eligible unitholders on 30 October 2020.
However, the portfolio of the sub-fund to be liquidated contains a foreign currency holding for which the foreign exchange market is currently restricted, in particular due to the COVID 19 pandemic. For this reason, an exchange into euro could not be carried out, which is why the payment of the liquidation proceeds on 30 October 2020 was not possible.
The management company will continue to monitor the situation on the foreign exchange market and will carry out the currency exchange as soon as this is possible. It will then complete the liquidation of the Sub-Fund and pay the liquidation proceeds to the investors. Liquidation proceeds that have not been claimed by unitholders at the conclusion of the liquidation procedure will be deposited by the Custodian Bank for the account of the entitled unitholders with the "Caisse de Consignations" in Luxembourg, where these amounts will be forfeited if they are not claimed there within the statutory period.
Investors will be notified separately of the payment of the liquidation proceeds.
The umbrella fund NESTOR Fonds will be continued with the existing sub-funds after the liquidation of the aforementioned sub-fund.
The valid Prospectus of the Umbrella Fund NESTOR Fund including the Management Regulations, the Key Investor Information Document as well as the annual and semi-annual reports are available free of charge at the registered office of the Management Company, at the Depositary and at all Paying Agents.
